Bhubaneswar, Feb. 6 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has expressed grave concern over the Draft UGC Regulations, 2025 and urged the UGC to reconsider the draconian provisions before finalizing the regulations.
Addressing the media, BJD's Coordination and Activities Committee Chairman, Debi Prasad Mishra, stated that the proposed regulations pose a direct threat to federalism, the autonomy of state universities, and the quality of higher education in India.
