Bhubaneswar, Feb. 9 -- The Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday reiterated demand before the union Government for the holistic development of Southern Odisha, stating that Southern Odisha's growth is central to the state's progress.
In a statement, the party urged the union Government to prioritise these infrastructure projects without further delay. The roadmap for progress in this region hinges on three pillars like railways, National Highways, and Aviation.
For overall growth of the region, faster execution of Railway and NH projects across Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Malkangiri are the need of the hour.
