Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- Biju Janata Dal (BJD) nominee Snehangini Chhuria today filed her nomination at the Nuapada Sub-Collector's office for the Nuapada Assembly by-election.
A large number of BJD workers and supporters gathered to show their support, while several senior party leaders accompanied her during the filing process.
After submitting her nomination, Chhuria expressed gratitude to former Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik for his blessings and for entrusting her with the opportunity to contest the by-election.
She also thanked the people of Nuapada, along with BJD cadres and supporters, for their faith and encouragement, and appreciated the senior party leadership for their presence.
