Bhubaneswar, Oct. 6 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the principal opposition party in Odisha, today strongly criticized Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's tour to Nuapada for announcing projects worth Rs.1,100 crore, just hours before the imposition of the Election Code of Conduct.
Addressing a joint press conference, BJD Vice President Sanjay Kumar Das Burma, Biju Mahila Janata Dal President Snehangini Chhuria, and Jaleswar MLA Ashwini Kumar Patra condemned the Chief Minister's visit, calling it "unfortunate" and politically motivated.
