Bhubaneswar, Dec. 3 -- Opposition BJD in the Odisha Assembly, on Wednesday voiced concern over the state government's apparent oversight in properly commemorating the 125th birth anniversary of renowned freedom fighter Rama Devi. Raising the issue during the Assembly's zero hour, BJD leader Prasanna Acharya said that despite Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's earlier promise during the Mahatab Jayanti celebrations to observe Rama Devi's birth anniversary across the state throughout the year, the government has largely ignored it.
"This is unacceptable and unpardonable," Acharya stated.
