Bhubaneswar, Sept. 30 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today lashed out at the BJP government in Odisha over the postponement of the Police Sub-Inspector (SI) examination, alleging large-scale malpractice and a massive recruitment scam.
BJD spokesperson Dr. Lenin Mohanty, in a statement, claimed that the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) was involved in irregularities in the recruitment process.
He said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also holds the Home portfolio, must clarify the reasons behind the exam's postponement.
"A new record in Odisha: with a double-engine government, 15 months and 15 exams cancelled, a new low indeed," Mohanty remarked, accusing the government of repeatedly failing aspirants.
