Chandigarh, July 14 -- Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu today accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of promoting drugs, corruption, and criminal behaviour through his past comedy shows, claiming these performances continue to shape his governance style.
Addressing a press conference here, Bittu alleged that Mann's habitual intoxication - even during official meetings - has damaged Punjab's image and institutions. He cited incidents including Mann's alleged drunken behaviour during a water-sharing meeting with the Haryana CM and a past episode at Frankfurt Airport, which he called an "international embarrassment."
