Kolkata, July 8 -- The Birbhum district Superintendent of Police Amandeep (IPS) has moved the Calcutta High Court seeking cancellation of summons notice from the National Commission for Women (NCW) after he skipped the hearing in the alleged Trinamool leader's abuse case involving Bolpur police station. Court sources today said the Calcutta High Court is expected to hear the case tomorrow. Single bench judge Justice Tirthankar Ghosh is likely to hear the case. The national women's panel had summoned the SP twice but the IPS officer could not appear due to his preoccupation.
