Chennai, Sept. 17 -- Bima Sugam India Federation has launched its corporate website with minimal information, after collecting a huge kitty as its capital from life, general, and health insurers several months ago.
The corporate website was unveiled by Ajay Seth, Chairman of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), in Hyderabad. The Bima Sugam portal is designed to be a marketplace for all kinds of insurance products.
"Bima Sugam represents a critical step towards creating India's Digital Public Infrastructure for insurance. This initiative will empower policyholders, deepen insurance penetration, and ensure transparency and fairness across the value chain," Seth said.
