New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- The Inland Vessels Bill, 2021 for promotion of safe and economical transportation through inland waters and a Bill to further amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order to modify the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the state of Arunachal Pradesh would be placed in Rajya Sabha for its approval on Monday amid fears of Opposition uproar over alleged Pegasus snooping scandal and other issues.
As per the Business List of the Rajya Sabha for the day, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal would move the Inland Vessels Bill, 2021 which seeks to bring uniformity in application of law relating to inland waterways and navigation within the country.
