New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma on Friday visited the site in west Delhi's Janakpuri where a biker lost his life after falling into a pit at the Line Rehabilitation Project area the previous night.
An assistant executive engineer, assistant engineer and junior engineer have been suspended in connection with accident, Verma said.
The minister said a high-level inquiry committee has been formed by Delhi Jal Board to ensure a transparent and time-bound investigation.
In a post on social media, the minister said the committee has been directed to immediately inspect the accident site and review safety arrangements, including barricading and traffic management.
