Gopalganj, April 20 -- A controversial directive issued by a nursing training institute in Bihar's Gopalganj district, prohibiting students from marrying during their training period, has been revoked with immediate effect following public backlash.

Taking cognizance of the order, the District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Sinha termed it a serious issue and directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Hathua to conduct a detailed probe and submit a report within 24 hours. He stated that further action would be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
