Patna, June 17 -- The Bihar Cabinet on Tuesday gave its nod for allotment of "letter of award" to the bidder, Kumar Infratrade Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Patna, for construction of a five-star hotel at Hotel Patliputra Ashok's land near Income Tax roundabout in the state capital. Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Cabinet S Siddharth told the media after the cabinet meeting here that the hotel would be developed on a 60-year lease by the successful bidder under the PPP mode, and the lease tenure could be extended further for the next 30 years. He further said that the selected firm will have to deposit money in proportion to the MVR and the annual lease deed fee for the purpose.
