Patna, June 14 -- The Bihar Building Construction Department is setting up modern District Disaster Response Facility-cum-Training Centres in flood-prone districts to ensure quick relief during disaster.
Building Construction Department Secretary Kumar Ravi said here on Saturday that type A District Disaster Response Facility-cum-Training Centre was being constructed in seven Divisional Headquarters in Bettiah, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Darbhanga, Patna, Purnia and Saharsa at an expenditure of Rs 70 crore and type B District Disaster Response Facility-cum-Training Centre was being constructed in 11 other district headquarters for Rs 82 crore 37 lakh 57 thousand. Construction of 6 type A and 9 type B buildings has been completed, he informed.
