An electorate of of over 3.70 crore is eligible to press the EVM button to seal the fates of 1302 candidates spread over 20 districts.
In the previous Assembly polls held in 2020, BJP had won 42 of these 122 seats, the RJD bagged 33, the JD(U) 20, Congress 11, CPI(ML) and AIMIM 5 each, HAM 4, and the BSP and an independent got one seat each.
The polling on the morrow takes place five days after the opening round saw record polling of 65.08 per cent in 121 of the state's total 243 Assembly seats.
