Patna, March 2 -- Bihar Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav said on Sunday that the state is set to achieve a significant milestone in the renewable energy sector with the launch of two solar energy projects in Kajra under Lakhisarai district.
Yadav said here that the projects, with a combined capacity of 301 MW. would be operational between July and August. The initiative includes the country's largest battery storage system of 495 MWh, designed to store solar energy and ensure a stable electricity supply during peak hours, particularly at night.
