Patna, Sept. 11 -- Following recent protests and a jail break in Nepal, the Bihar government today took proactive steps to bolster security across its border districts.
Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit chaired a high-level review meeting here to assess the situation and instructed officials on precautionary measures.
Through the video conference, Amrit interacted with District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police from all border districts, directing them to maintain strict surveillance on people entering Bihar from Nepal. He stressed that no one should be allowed to cross the border without thorough checks.
