Patna, April 10 -- Bihar Fisheries Minister Surendra Mehta today said the state government is working towards large-scale export of fish produced in Bihar to international markets, aiming to ensure better returns for fish farmers.
Mehta told news persons here that Bihar's fish is witnessing growing demand globally, with several varieties fetching prices between Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,600 per kilogram in international markets. He said the government is making continuous efforts to improve the income and living standards of fish farmers.
