Patna, Dec. 8 -- With an aim to attain speedy growth and to expedite the implementation of Mandai Weir Irrigation Project, Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit on Monday directed the authorities concerned to complete the project by May 2026 so that farmers can get timely irrigation facilities.

Amrit who started a weekly review of the Project to ensure faster progress, asked the concerned department to immediately deploy assistant and junior engineers to the project site.

He also said that the district administration has already set up a camp at the location to speed up the work.
