Patna, Sept. 16 -- Bihar government has decided to provide laptop to students securing top three positions in different streams of engineering and polytechnic college across the state.
Bihar Science, Technology and Technical Education Minister Sumit Kumar Singh today said that the students securing top three positions will be given laptop from next year under "Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Puraskar" (Meritorious Student Encouragement Award).
At present, the award carries a medal, certificate, memento and cash reward of Rs 5,000, Rs 4000 and Rs 3,000 for students securing first, second and third position at state level respectively both in engineering and polytechnic colleges.
