Patna, Aug. 12 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced that the state government has implemented its decision to provide up to 125 units of electricity free of cost every month to all domestic consumers.

Speaking via a video conference at a statewide Bihar Vidyut Upbhokta Samvad (Bihar Electricity Consumers Dialogue), Kumar said that the initiative rolled out under the Mukhyamantri Vidyut Upbhokta Sahayata Yojana has already begun benefitting people. "Every domestic consumer in Bihar was now got up to 125 units of electricity free every month. This step has brought great happiness among people," he remarked.
