Patna, Feb. 6 -- The Bihar government today announced it was executing the Taal Integrated Development Scheme for the overall development of the Taal (Riverine) area, important for production of pulses in the state.
Intervening in the reply of Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav to a shortnoticed question of Amrendra Kumar during the pre lunch sitting of the state assembly, Bihar Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary informed that the government was executing the Taal Development Scheme for development of the riverine area, popular as Taal, in view of its importance in the production of pulses. He said the scheme is being executed in a phased manner to resolve the water logging issues in the area.
