Patna, May 27 -- To further expand and strengthen the rail network in the state, the Bihar government has demanded six new rail projects from the centre including construction of additional rail lines, new rail bridge over river Ganges between Ara and Chapra and introduction of circular train service on Budh Circuit Rail Corridor.

Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, who recently sent a letter to the Railway Board Chairman, said here on Tuesday that the state government has requested the board to consider the requirements of the state and sanction the projects at the earliest.
