Patna, Aug. 15 -- In a move aimed at easing the financial burden on job seekers and creating more job opportunities for the youth, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced that his government has drastically reduced application fees for all state-level recruitment preliminary exams.

Sharing the decision on social media account X, Kumar said under the new policy, all recruitment bodies, including Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC), Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC), Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, and Central Constable Selection Board will now charge a uniform fee of only Rs 100 for preliminary (PT) exams.
