Patna, Sept. 8 -- Seat-sharing among constituents of opposition Grand Alliance (GA/Mahagathbandhan) has become a big challenge barely two-three months ahead of the elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly.

Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav met in charge of Bihar Congress Krishna Allaveru and president of the state unit of the party Rajesh Ram on Saturday. It was the first formal GA attempt to break the ice on seat-sharing.

Yadav also held talks with Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni. When asked about his demand for seats, Sahni said his party had made it clear long back about numbers of seats his party would like to contest.
