Patna, Jan. 2 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said on Friday that the farmer registry is being implemented under the Agri Stack Project to provide direct benefits to farmers and ensure transparent and timely delivery of all agricultural schemes in the future.
Describing the project as priority initiative of the state governmen, Sinha said the lack of expected progress in land records (jamabandi) is a serious matter and will not be accepted at any level. He directed all circle officers, revenue officers and revenue staff to take up the task in mission mode and ensure daily progress in line with the assigned targets.
