Patna, July 12 -- Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar Vinod Singh Gunjiyal urged all voters in the urban areas of the state to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list as the campaign will conclude on July 25.

In a press note issued today, Gunjiyal said that voter participation in this campaign has been encouraging in rural areas, where about 77 percent of the enumeration forms have been collected so far.

In contrast, voter participation in urban areas has been relatively low. For instance, the enumeration form collection percentages in various urban assembly constituencies are 64 percent in Digha Assembly Constituency, 67 percent in Kumhrar, 72 percent in Bankipur, 74.2 percent in Patna Sahib, 73 ...
