Patna, June 17 -- In a bid to boost the production of pulses and oilseeds and support famrers in the state, the Bihar Cabinet today approved a proposal for the procurement of the such food crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP) from the growers.
After the Cabinet meeting, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) S Siddharth informed that the MSP for chana (chickpeas) for the Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2025-26 has been fixed at Rs 5,650 per quintal. Similarly, the MSP for Masoor (lentil) and Mustard has been fixed at Rs 6,700 and Rs 5,950 per quintal, respectively.
