Patna, Aug. 5 -- In order to implement the domicile policy in the state, the Bihar cabinet today gave its nod to the 'Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules 2025', making a provision for appointment to people hailing from Bihar.
Additional Chief Secretary Cabinet S Siddharth told newspersons here that as per the Rules 2025, the students who have passed matriculation and intermediate from the state will get priority in the appointment of education department's jobs -- both in teaching and non-teaching.
