New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The nomination process for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections kicks off today, marking a significant step towards the polls. The 243-member Assembly will have elections in two phases, with the first phase covering 121 seats across 18 districts.
Notification for the first phase is on October 10, 2025. With the first phase of nominations running from October 10 to October 17, 2025, followed by scrutiny on October 18, and withdrawal of nominations on October 20.
Voting for the first phase will take place on November 6, 2025.
