Patna, March 21 -- Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of insulting the National Anthem during an event and demanded an apology from him for this.
Yadav told news persons here on Friday that every Bihari was ashamed of the conduct of the Chief Minister who has brought shame to the citizens. Yadav said that how Kumar acted was unfortunate and demanded an apology from him.
Yadav said even after personally having great respect for Kumar, he cannot remain silent on the issue of insult to the National anthem. The RJD leader said it was the first incident in the annals of the country and added that it seemed the Chief Minister was actually in an unconscious state.
