Patna, May 6 -- In a significant push to industrial development, the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has approved the allotment of 20.04 acres of land to 19 industrial units across the state, paving the way for an estimated investment of Rs 284 crore and the creation of around 1,200 jobs.
Industries Department Secretary and Managing Director of BIADA and IDA Kundan Kumar said here today that the decision was taken by BIADA's Project Clearance Committee (PCC), which cleared proposals for setting up units in diverse sectors including food processing, footwear, electronics, textiles, plastics, compressed biogas (CBG), and general manufacturing.
