Patna, March 24 -- Leader of the opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Monday said that Bihar was among the top states of the country in taking loans during the NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Yadav, also a senior RJD leader, while participating in a debate on the Bihar Appropriation Bill 2025 in the House, said that during the regime of the NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the state government had taken loans which were 38.6 percent of GDP of Bihar.
As per an estimate, every Bihari had a debt burden of Rs 25,000 each,he pointed out.
