Patna, April 27 -- Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, said on Sunday that after coming to power, his government would exclude Palm wine (toddy) from liquor prohibition law.
Addressing the function of all India Paasi community here, Yadav claimed that he would form his government after 2025 elections and soon after he would exclude Palm wine from the liquor prohibition law in the state.
He said that there would be a major change in the existing liquor ban law of the state, after he resumes power.
Yadav said that on several occasions, he requested Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to exclude the palm wine from the prohibition law, but he did not pay ear to his request.
