Patna, March 3 -- RJD member of Bihar Legislative Council Sunil Kumar Singh on Monday requested the Chairman to immediately reinstate his Council membership, which was terminated last year after he did a mimicry of Chief Minister Kumar and called him "Paltu Ram" in the House.
Singh wrote to the chairman here to reinstate his membership in compliance with the judgment of the Supreme Court delivered on February 25.
Singh, in his letter stated that he had earlier written to the chairman on February 26 requesting him to reinstate his membership for upholding the Constitution and the Rule of Law and mentioned that the letter has been received by the office of the chairman.
