Patna/New Delhi, Nov. 15 -- In a stunning electoral performance, the NDA juggernaut steamrolled the opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) to win a landslide victory in Bihar on Friday with 202 seats out of a state assembly strength of 243.
The Congress-RJD-Left Grand Alliance had to face a bitter defeat, managing to win 35 seats as compared to the 110 it had won in the 2020 Assembly polls.
Speaking in New Delhi after the trends became clear, Prime Minister Narendra Modi exulted, "Jungle Raj will now never return to Bihar" as his partymen celebrated in Patna and Delhi.
