Patna, Aug. 2 -- In order to strengthen road safety and to regulate traffic, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today flagged off 71 new police vehicles allocated to Deputy Superintendents of Police (Traffic) and traffic police stations across the state.
Kumar flagged off the vehicles, signalling their deployment to various districts. Speaking at the event, Kumar highlighted the importance of enhancing the state's policing capabilities, particularly in traffic regulation and road safety.
The availability of these new vehicles will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force. "It will also improve law and order and strengthen traffic management across the state," he said.
