Patna, April 25 -- With a view to expanding the air connectivity network in Bihar, Airport Authority of India (AAI) will carry out 'pre-feasibility study' to start commercial flight operations from six towns of the state.

The decision was taken in the meeting of Bihar cabinet held here on Friday in the leadership of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

After the meeting, additional chief secretary S Siddharth told news persons that the state cabinet gave its nod to the AAI to carry out 'pre-feasibility study' in six towns of Madhubani, Birpur, Munger, Valmikinagar, Bhagalpur and Saharsa.

The cabinet also sanctioned Rs 2.43 crore for carrying out the study, Siddharth said, adding the 'pre-feasibility study' would incorporate the factors like ...
