Hyderabad, July 31 -- Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has urged the Lok Sabha Speaker to expedite the ambitious Outer Regional Ring Railway Line (ORRRL) project around Hyderabad, calling it a landmark initiative for Telangana's logistics and mobility ecosystem.

Describing it as India's first Outer Regional Ring Railway project, the MP said it will cover eight districts and 14 mandals, feature six rail-over-rail bridges, and run parallel to the proposed Regional Ring Road. The project, which will completely encircle the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region, carries an estimated cost of around Rs 12,000 crore.
