Hyderabad, April 25 -- Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday reacted sharply to the launch of a new political party by Kalvakuntla Kavitha, raising questions over its timing and intent.
In a video statement, the MP said that while anyone in a democracy has the right to form a political party, the people of Telangana would carefully assess the credibility behind such moves.
Referring to Kavitha's announcement of the "Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS)," he remarked that her claims of working as a "mother figure" for the people need to be examined in the context of her past political role.
