Lucknow/New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who is in India to participate in the Maha Kumbh, on Tuesday took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Bhutan King, after bathing in the river, also participated in holy rituals on the banks of the river, to the accompaniment of chants of Vedic hymns.

King Jigme Khesar was also seen rowing a large houseboat alongside the UP CM Adityanath, and also feeding the river birds. He also performed the holy aarti of the river.

The Maha Kumbh is being held at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers in Prayagraj.
