Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- Dr Bhupesh Bagga, Consultant Ophthalmologist (Cornea & Anterior Segment) at L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), has been elected as President of the Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group (OMIG), a global network of physicians and scientists dedicated to studying ocular infections.
The announcement came during Bug Busters 5, a three-day international conference hosted by LVPEI from October 31 to November 2, which focused on advancing research in corneal infections and antimicrobial resistance. Over 120 delegates, including national and international experts, attended the event.
