Bhopal, Aug. 25 -- Amid the countrywide debate on altering syllabi, a fresh dispute vis-a-vis history has surfaced in the Madhya Pradesh capital with local parliamentarian Alok Sharma saying on a public platform, "Bhopal has a millennium of proud history. It does not belong to Muslims, this is the Bhopal of Emperor Ashok, the Paramara dynasty's Raja Bhoj and Rani Kamlapati."The statement has raised the political temperature and the Mohammedan community has sternly objected to the comment.
