Varanasi, Sept. 3 -- Bhojpuri singer and film actor Pawan Singh has found himself in the midst of controversy once again, following a new legal case filed against him.
This time, a hotelier from Varanasi has registered charges of fraud and cheating against Pawan Singh, along with Prem Shankar Rai, his wife Seema Rai, and Arvind Choubey. The case was filed at the Cantt police station yesterday.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate's court, while hearing the case, had directed the Cantt police station to register and investigate the matter on August 13. The hotelier, represented by Advocate Rahul Dwivedi, alleges that the case was originally filed in mid-July with the assistance of advocates Ashish Singh and Dushyant Awasthi.
