Mumbai, Aug. 8 -- A middle-aged couple died instantly when their motorcycle was run over by a truck in Bhola Nagar, Bhayander West, this morning. Police have arrested truck driver Jafar Deshmukh (52) and seized his vehicle. Victims Dinesh Mali (55) and wife Manju Mali (50), residents of Bhayander's Uttan area, were en route from their home to Bhayander when the accident occurred. According to investigating officers, Dinesh lost control while attempting to overtake a truck, causing both to fall onto the road where they were mowed down by the same vehicle. Bhayander Police Station teams reached the site immediately, took custody of the bodies, and sent them for postmortem to a hospital. A case has been registered, and further investigation ...
