Kolkata, Dec. 7 -- Bhawanipore Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's seat under the Kolkata South parliamentary district, has emerged as a major zone of concern in the Election Commission of India's (ECI) ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The constituency has reported 41,495 'uncollectable' enumeration forms (EFs) till Friday afternoon, according to the office of the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).

These forms, which Booth Level Officers (BLOs) fail to collect during door-to-door verification, relate to voters who fall into the ASDD category: absent, shifted, dead, or duplicate.
