Hyderabad, Sept. 28 -- Bharat Future City, envisioned as India's first Net-Zero Smart City, is set to redefine urban development with world-class infrastructure, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge industries.
The project is being guided by the Future City Development Authority (FCDA), established through G.O.Ms.No.69 dated March 12, 2025.
Spread over 765 sq. km., Bharat Future City will cover 56 revenue villages across three Assembly constituencies and seven mandals in Rangareddy district. The FCDA is presently functional with 36 sanctioned regular posts and 54 outsourced services. Its primary goal is to ease the growing population pressure on Hyderabad while creating new economic hubs and employment opportunities.
