Hyderabad, Dec. 9 -- Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Tuesday announced that Bharat Future City, the state's flagship greenfield urban development project, will be built as a world-class, zero-carbon city capable of generating 13 lakh jobs and accommodating nine lakh residents.

Speaking on the theme "Bharat Future City as a Magnet for a USD 3 Trillion Telangana" at the Telangana Rising Global Summit today, the Minister said the 13,500-acre city will attract both domestic and international investments and stand as a landmark of modern urban planning.
