Kolkata, April 19 -- Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar has said that India's two epic texts, Srimad Bhagvad Gita and Bharat Muni's Natyashastra, have found a place in UNESCO's 'Memory of the World Register'.
"A glorious chapter in the civilizational pride of Bharat has been written as the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and Bharat Muni's Natyashastra have found a place in UNESCO's 'Memory of the World Register," Union Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar posted on his X handle.
"This historic recognition honours not just two epic texts, but also the eternal values of Indian consciousness, ethics, art, culture, and philosophy on a global stage," he pointed out.
