Hyderabad, April 3 -- Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar has cautioned citizens against consuming chemically ripened mangoes, urging them to remain vigilant while purchasing the popular summer fruit.
In a post on social media, the CP termed the seasonal delicacy as potentially dangerous if artificially ripened, warning people to "stay away from toxic mangoes." He advised consumers not to be misled by fruits marketed as "organic" and to verify their authenticity before buying.
